Dress Dedication

Last Sunday I was privilaged to visit All Saint Lutheran Church.  What a kind and welcoming group of people!!  Kathy is headed to Mexico to celebrate the Day of The Child.  She will work with Pastors in the area and will share stories about Jesus, do crafts with the children and give dresses to the girls.  On Sunday the church dedicated all of the items traveling to Mexico and they also asked me to share about the sewing of our dresses for little girls in need...

Here is the beautiful sign that greeted us upon our arrival!

And here are some of the dresses going on this trip

I had the opportunity to share with the children about dressing little girls

We also thanked the ladies in the church that had sewn dresses

This is how we put on the dresses

Mexico

I am always sew excited as I see the Lord working... miracles do happen!!  I have lots of dresses ready to go out and two days ago I met an amazing lady that needs dresses!!  Kathy has been going to Mexico for years.  She always goes when they are celebrating The Day of the Child. She and her team work with local pastors and they make those celebrations very special for children who have very little.  They do crafts and games and show movies about Jesus.  This year they are also taking dresses and underwear and necklaces and teeny beanies and headbands to share with the girls.  Here are the first bags and Kathy with her beautiful smile!

This week I am packaging more dresses for the girls of Mexico and making more headbands.

Thank you All Saints Lutheran Church for all you are doing for girls in need!!

91 Young

Recently dresses when to an orphanage in Mexico and we just received pictures of the girls in their dresses

They are sew beautiful!!!

Would you like to impact the lives of young girls and show them that you care about them and that they have worth?  You could sew and I will teach you about the pattern.  I will even give you pillowcases and fabric and laces... everything you need to make the dresses.  Or you could donate some of these items.

I recently met a wonderful 91 year old lady... her friends call her Amazing Grace
She is responsible for introducing me to Lynn and the result is over 100 dresses going to Sierra Leone
she has introduced me to Judy and the result is dresses going to Ethiopia!!!
And she is still working for us!!

SEW WHAT WILL YOU DO?
