Packing Dresses

It was sew exciting to get together on Friday and pack dresses for West Africa and Uganda!!  We have 100 dresses going to Haiti (thanks to Lucille for packing all of those) and 100 going to West Africa and also 200 going to Uganda!!

From leftovers to a shining smiles

You take a pillowcase or about 3/4 of a yard of fabric and add your creativity and your love and less than one hour of your time to make a simple dress.  This dress is versatile... it has elastic across the top so it will grow with the girls.  And some of the older girls wear these dresses as top with shorts or pants.  Now what is the result of this project....

How to Help

You could:

1. Sew with a group or on your own
2. If you don't sew come to a group and cut dresses or press dresses
3. Donate Pillowcases
4. Donate elastic, trim and thread
5. Donate Fabric
6. Organize a Sewfest at your church or company (I will help you)
7. Share this blog with others and follow this blog
8. Spread the word about Dress A Girl
9. Sponsor a lady through Hope4Women International
