My father also passed away on this date, only it was 10 years ago. I am still greiving for him and it will never get any easier. My thoughts are with you on this day and always.

Love the precious dress and those rich fabrics! Do you use a pattern for the different panels or just use a large rectangle depending on how large your remnant is?
I also miss my dad who was the world to me. Someday I'll be in heaven with him God willing.
i piece together differently depending on how much fabric I have... these were fat quarters so the puces were 7" x 18' and then I added the ruffle
