Tea Time

Thanks to all of the wonderful ladies (30 of them) that came out for a Tea at my house!  We had a wonderful time together.  I spoke about my trip to Appalachia and shared pictures of that time.  Lynn Pelton shared about the plight of the people in Sierra Leone and shared pictures of dresses being delivered.  Lynn also won one of the raffle baskets we were giving away.  She decided that she would take the teapot and other items to the wife of the President of Sierra Leone... who recently helped Lynn's ministry open a hospital in that country!!

Washington Tea

On April 2, 2011 we had our first annual Tea.  Twenty-one ladies came and celebrated making dresses for little girls!!  We turned and stuffed over 100 Teddy Bears to put in the pockets of our dresses...

We ate so many wonderful goodies...

And we shared about the girls in need, how to sew a dress and saw many of the dresses that are ready to go to the girls...

Thanks to all the great ladies that attended!!!
