A Sweet Spirit

Sewing for little ones in need is full of incredible people.  Ladies that sew, companies and individuals that give and generous people that take the dresses.  But yesterday I heard a story that really touched me!!  Last month the ladies of Northshore Baptist Church made 45 dresses Nicaragua.  Kerri gave me a disk full of pictures showing the girls in their new dresses and she told me a story of one of the girls.  The group went to a church plant outside of Los Cedros.  They had dresses to distribute at the church plant.  The girls were there as they arrived.  After all of the dresses were given out another little girl came but there wasn't a dress for her.  She was so sad that she began to cry... she was very upset and kept crying.  One of the little girls that had just received a dress gave her dress to the little gal that was so upset.  That generous little girl didn't know if she would ever get another of these dresses but she still gave generously to her friend.  It touched me and made me realize even more... we need to keep sewing.  There are too many little girls out there without a dress... not knowing that they are loved!!

Here she is so happy with her dress and then here she is holding the little one she gave her dress to...

Can you help make sure that she gets another dress???

OH what a testimony of TRUE and GRACE FILLED LOVE! I pray to be more like this precious and beautiful child. Thank you for posting this Suzanne, it's just the inspiration I needed this morning to finish the stack of dresses cut out on my table and the reminder that every ONE matters!

And Jesus loved the little children . . . what a precious child with a heart of love! I was blessed just by reading about her. Thanks, Suzanne for sharing.
