Blessed

I feel very blessed to have been asked to be the director of Dress A Girl Around the World.  I pray that I can help our project grow and reach even more girls… giving them love and dignity!  When you put a dress on a little girl and look into her eyes and see the joy it is priceless!!  The last year has been amazing… traveling to Appalachia and Uganda delivering dresses and now helping to raise funds for the Hiriga well.  I never thought that I would travel by myself to join a team in Uganda.  You see I am really a kind of timid person inside… I try not to show that to too many people but it is true.  I have always seen the teams in Uganda and I have always wanted to go but I never believed that I actually would go.  Trying to describe how it happened... that I actually went is hard… I said I wanted to go and I started saying I was going to go but it wasn't me making it happen… I saw it happening… funds being raised, airplane tickets being purchased, dresses being sewn… but it wasn't me… it was God doing it as I watched.  And then yes I did go to Uganda.  Dress A Girl Around the World has indeed blessed my life.  As I have sewn these dresses I have received so so much.  Thank you ladies and gentlemen of Dress A Girl Around the World.  I will try and be a great director.  Let's continue to help little ones in need in a BIG way!!  By the way Rachel you are the best!!!!

So what exactly does this new position involve? Will you still continue this blog? I love reading it, looking at the pictures and learning from your tutorials and instructions. I hope you still manage to do both. You are an inspiration, and I check your blog daily.
