WACAP Fashion Show
On Mother's Day... May 13, 2012, WACAP is having a brunch/fashion show. They are raising awareness of girls that are waiting for adoptions. Many of these girls have special needs. The models walking the runway are all walking in honor of a girl awaiting adoption. Each of the models will be wearing a dress sewn by a Washington volunteer. I was at the fabric store today and fell in love with some orange fabric. Now orange is not my usual go to color but this fabric was very special and since it was on sale and it was also senior discount day I bought the fabric. I am giving you a peak at my first dress for the WACAP Mother's Day Brunch/Fashion Show. But I am giving you just a peak because I wanted to show you my new scallop maker... I bought it at the Sewing Expo and it actually works!!
