Nicaragua

A three member team went to Nicaragua recently from Northshore Baptist Church and they carried 102 dresses.  They also took teddy bears, dolls and necklaces. These pictures tell the whole story!!

Thanks to all the sewers... from here in Washington and also from as far away as Alberta Canada.  

And thank you so much to the team that took the dresses.

Mail Surprises!!

Boxes are always fun surprises... who is it from, who is it for, what is in it!!??  Last week I received a lovely box from Tina.  She had been shopping at Etsy and found the cutest pillowcase dresses and they were on sale... and she thought of us.  She had been reading this blog and decided to send them to me.  Here they are

And now two of these dresses are on their way to Nicaragua!!

Sewing

20 ladies and girls got together yesterday to sew dresses

We spent the day learning and sewing and laughing and eating delicious taco soup.

These wonderful ladies sewed over 50 dresses for Los Cedros, Nicaragua!

And those cute little girls spent the day making prayer dolls.
